Breathability Rating

The UnMask Sport Collection face masks are our benchmark for airflow measurement. The Sport is rated 10 on a scale of 10. We then measure the airflow of the other UnMask styles as compared to the Sport. For reference, a blue paper disposable face mask has a breathability rating of 3 out of 10 and an N95 or KN95 face mask has a breathability rating of 0 out of 10.​

Air Travel Recommendation

With airline scrutiny increasing, the Sport and Bella Collections are not advised for air travel. Many people, especially kids, fly regularly with Camo face masks without issue. The gold standard for air travel is the new Un95, Natural and the Ultra due to the fact that they have the outward appearance of a traditional cloth face mask, but still deliver the UnMask's legendary breathability. Some travelers have gone as far as removing the UnMask tag to avoid drawing unwanted attention from over zealous airline personnel.

Selecting the right size UnMask

To find the right fit, we recommend using a flexible tape measure (or a piece of string). Measure from the bridge of your nose to under your chin (about 1-inch from under the tip of your chin). See the sizing chart below to determine the proper fit for your face. Many people with smaller faces, including some adults are a perfect fit in a small. All face masks feature ear cord adjusters making a perfect fit for almost every size face. Please note, as all UnMasks are handmade, some variance in sizes may occur.
